Custom Metrics

Build your own metric out of any connected platform's numbers, with a live preview as you build it. Once saved, it goes on your dashboard just like any built-in metric.

Why build your own

The metrics Tutti ships with cover the common cases, but not every store measures things the same way. Maybe you want a ROAS number that excludes GST, or a blended cost per order across Meta and Google Ads combined. The Custom Metric Builder lets you define that yourself, once, instead of doing the math by hand every time.

Writing a formula

A formula is built from other metrics — any built-in metric from a connected platform, or another custom metric you've already saved — combined with ordinary arithmetic (add, subtract, multiply, divide). Pick the metrics you want from a reference list as you type, so you're never guessing at exact names.

Custom metrics can build on each other

A formula can reference another custom metric, not just built-in ones — useful for breaking a complicated calculation into smaller, reusable pieces. Tutti checks every formula for a loop (a metric that, directly or through others, ends up depending on itself) before it'll let you save, so you can't accidentally save something that can't actually be calculated.

A live preview as you build

As you write a formula, Tutti shows you the real, current value it would produce for your store — not a mocked-up example. If something's wrong, you'll see exactly what, right away, rather than finding out after you've saved it.

If a formula would divide by zero, or references a platform you haven't connected, Tutti shows that honestly — no value, not a made-up zero — instead of a number that looks real but isn't.

Using a saved metric

Once saved, a custom metric shows up in the "Add metric" picker alongside every built-in one, grouped with your other custom metrics so it's easy to find. Add it to any row on your Summary dashboard the same way you'd add any other tile.

Shared with your whole team

Custom metrics belong to your workspace, not to one login. If you've invited teammates (see Team Members), everyone sees and can use the same custom metrics — build one once, and it's there for whoever else is looking at the same store.
